Gay Marriage Rights Pioneer Richard Adams Dies

Richard Adams died December 17, 2012 at the age of 65.

Mr. Adams and his partner Tony Sullivan were the first couple to file a marriage equality lawsuit against the federal government.

Adams was born in Manila, Phillippines and came to the United States at the age of 12.
